Central park - the center of New York City, yet suprisingly quiet and calm. Take a look around the park and you'd be shocked that this nice little park is in New York City. Now, there's the business men walking to work - that might give it away. But watch out for the rollerbladers along the way.

This pier has more too it than just...well, a pier. The massive complex houses activities for every season, with facilities that include ice-skating rinks, a gymnastics training center, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, a 25-yard swimming pool, a boxing ring, batting cages, indoor rock climbing wall, cafes, a bowling alley, and a spa to sooth tired muscles. Have fun!

| French Roast Cafe
This dependable French bistro and cafe is always open, making it a perfect spot to wind up a long evening on the town. The cluttered interior has loads of character, with mixed dining sets and thrift store decorations. The menu ranges from sandwiches and entrees to a nice selection of appetizers and midnight snacks. In good weather, the sidewalk cafe is always packed.

The Bronx Zoo is the largest urban zoo in the United States. It houses thousands of animals, ranging from lions and monkeys to sea lions and sloths. The Congo exhibit features lowland gorillas, pythons and other central African animals. A modern zoo, it places animals into recreations of their own ecosystems. Admission is free on Wednesdays.
